Question: Is Laser Tag Safe?
Answer: Laser Tag is fun and safe! There’s no actual “laser”, our equipment uses invisible Infrared light. It’s the same technology used in TV remotes. We will be giving the players a safety briefing before game play starts. Our referees are there to monitor the game to make sure everyone is being safe. However, due to the nature of the game play, quick movement, hiding, etc, we ask that all players sign a “hold harmless” waiver prior to participating in any laser tag event.
Question: Is there an age restriction?
Answer: Due to the nature of the activity and the weight of the equipment, we limit our parties and events to ages 8 and older.
Question: How do I book a party?
Answer: We suggest that you fill out the booking request form or just give us a call, and we will be happy to help you in any way.
Question: Do I need to pay a deposit when I book a party or event?
Answer: Upon completion of your event booking, we require a 50% non-refundable down payment. The remaining balance will be due at the end of your event. For your convenience, we accept multiple credit cards for the initial deposit. For payments at the event, we accept credit cards or cash.
Question: Is there an extra travel or fuel charge?
Answer: If your event/party is outside of a 20 mile radius from our home zip code of 29680, then there is an extra mileage charge of $0.50/mile over the 40 mile round trip allowance.
Question: What if I need to reschedule due to weather?
Answer: We value safety over everything else. There may be occasions when the weather does not cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather (lightning, high winds, flooding, or extremely heavy rains, snow or ice) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff and equipment. If there is a forecast of pending severe weather, please contact us, or we will contact you, to begin the rescheduling process. You may also choose to move your laser tag party to an indoor venue, if available and you gain proper permission.
Question: When would the BattleGround Greenville staff arrive?
Answer: Depending on the type of setup and the size of your venue, we will arrive 30-40 mins prior to game play start.
Question: What is your Alcohol/Drug Policy?
Answer: You may choose to serve alcohol at your event or party to those of legal age, however, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or cut short any party or booking when it interferes with the safety of the players or our employees. Drugs of any sort will not be tolerated in or around any BattleGround equipment and any observed use will result in the termination of the party/event immediately. In either case, initial deposit is not refundable and remaining balance will be due immediately.
Question: What happens if equipment gets damaged?
Answer: BattleGround Greenville understands that accidents happen. However, we reserve the right to charge the client’s credit card (with prior notice) for damage to our equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage by the client’s guests. BattleGround offers an event insurance fee of $25 to cover any accidental damage only, by players or guests.
Question: Will BattleGround Greenville take photos or videos at my event?
Answer: One of our staff members may take photos or video of your event at any time. These may be used for social media or our website. We will never post player/guests identity by name unless consent is given. If for some reason you do not wish pictures or videos taken during the event, please let our staff know before the event begins. Any pictures or videos taken can be shared with you so that you can capture your party as it happens.
Question: Do I need to tip the game referees?
Answer: The Referee/staff is there to make sure your group is making the most out of our high-tech fun. Our coaches, inspires and entertains. Tipping for good service is a great idea, but not required.
